Interaction between Carboxymethyl Cellulose and Polylactic Acid Revealed by Spectroscopy[J]. Acta Scientiarum Naturalium Universitatis SunYatseni, 2010,49(4):67-70.DOI:
The interaction mechanism between carboxymethyl cellulose (CMC) and polylactic acid 〖JP3〗(PLA) in solution was studied by FTIR
resonance light scattering (RLS)
and fluorescence spectroscopy.〖JP〗The results indicated that the CMC and PLA formed a steady homogeneous intermolecular complex (IPCs) due to the interaction of hydrogen bonding. The effect of mass ratio on the forming of the complex was investigated based on RLS technology. The interaction process of CMC and PLA in solution was directly observed by the analysis of changing trends of RLS signal. The average number of bind sites of the complex was also investigated by selfbuilt mathematical models based on RLS values.
