scum was studied by TG-DTG and DSC methods while the components of
Ephedra
scum are further detected by pyrolytic GC-MS method. For
Ephedra
scum
the main temperature range of mass loss was 250~560 ℃. The fastest rate of mass loss was shown at 305 ℃ and 506.3 ℃. Two endothermic peaks were quite obvious respectively at 364.8 ℃ and 508.2 ℃.
Ephedra
scum is organic compound. The thermal decomposition product at 450 ℃ was analyzed by pyrolytic GC-MS
and twenty-eight chemical compounds were detected.
