Removal of Nitrogen from Water Bodies by Canna Floating Bed in Different Seasons
Canna was planted in the eutrophication water with the technology of soilless culture in a polymethyl flume
and nitrogen was removed by the effection of plants absorbing and sorption
cooperated with bacteria. The experimental results show that nitrogen can be removed more by the canna floating bed in spring than that in autumn. The removal rate of total nitrogen was about 58.4% within five days
