Comparison of Diabatic Heating Data from NCEP/NCAR(Ⅰ,Ⅱ)and ERA40
Diabatic heating data from NCEP (1 and 2) and ERA40 are compared to analyze the applicability of these data in the Asian region
particularly in the Tibet Plateau(TP) and tropical Asia. In spite of slight difference in vertical integration of total diabatic heating rates from three data sets
the spatial distribution shows good agreement. Seasonal and interannual variability of the mean diabatic heating over TP shows agreement in the magnitude and trend. Particularly
the correlation coefficients of interannual variability of the mean sensible heat flux over TP among three data sets exceed 99% or even 999% confidence level. Therefore
