There is concrete analysis of the diode's role in solar cell
photovoltaic module and array. Using the Matlab and Simulink tools.According to the simulation model of solar cells
the simulation 〖JP2〗model of photovoltaic module and array is established
and the role of diodes in the solar cell
photovoltaic module and array is analysed and caleulated. And then
the results from diodes which have different conduction voltage and different influence on the output power of photovoltaic module and array is simulated. Calculation results show that the correct choice of diode's conduction voltage is beneficial to improve the output power of photovoltaic module and array.
