Determination of the Contents of Geniposide and Crocin in Fructus gardeniae by Capillary Electrophoresis
The capillary electrophoresis was used for the determination of the content of Geniposide and Crocin in
Fructus gardeniae
. The effective separated components were achieved by using separation voltage 25 kV
injection time 8 seconds and detection potential at 0.86 V in 20 mmol/L TrisHCl buffer condition (pH=8.50). The contents of Geniposide and Crocin in Sichuan
Fructus gardeniae
were determined to be 32.46 mg/g and 8.527 mg/g. The contents of Geniposide and Crocin in Zhejiang
Fructus gardeniae
were determined to be 26.51 mg/g and 7.028 mg/g. The average recovery ratios of Geniposide and Crocin in Sichuan
Fructus gardeniae
were 99.73% and 99.92%. The average recovery ratios of Geniposide and Crocin in Zhejiang
Fructus gardeniae
