Abstract

N-dimensional compact closed sub-manifolds M

of mean curvature and scalar curvature having linear relationship in the space form S

n+p

(1) are studied.The Theorem A generalizes the totally umbilical resolute of sub-manifolds of constant scalar curvature to sub-manifolds of mean curvature and scalar curvature having linear relationship.
