Conformal welding plays an important role in the development of Teichmu¨ller theory and quasiconformal maps. The discrete approximations of conformal welding and associated quasicircle induced by a quasisymmetry mapping are constructed using circle packings with bounded degree

and their convergence is proved. This provides a more general approach for approximating conformal welding mappings.
