摘要

该文以污染严重的珠江广州河段为研究对象，分析了感潮河段沉积物中的理化性质（机械组成、碳氮、溶解氧）和硝化细菌数量的垂向分布，并利用当地菌种，设计溶解氧浓度梯度培养硝化细菌，探讨溶解氧对硝化细菌的影响。结果表明，沉积物中的溶解氧在0~10 cm间由0.26 mg/L降低到0.02 mg/L，这主要与粉砂为主的机械组成和底栖动物的活动有关；沉积物中的硝化细菌主要受溶解氧浓度的影响，室内培养与野外实验结果对照显示，沉积物中的硝化细菌在低溶解氧条件下处于抑制状态，并导致氨氮的积累；在溶解氧浓度低于0.03 mg/L时氨氧化细菌的数量比亚硝酸氧化细菌高。

Abstract

The aim of this study was to investigate the effect of dissolved oxygen (DO) on nitrifying bacterial abundance and vertical distribution in sediment of Pearl River (Guangzhou section).Vertical distributions of sediment physical-chemical properties (grain size distribution

concentrations of total organic carbon

total nitrogen

nitrate

ammonium

DO) and nitrifying bacteria abundance were characterized using sediment cores.The experiments were conducted to cultivate bacteria using local bacteria and different DO concentrations.The results showed that DO concentrations decreased from 0.26 to 0.02 mg·L

-1

within sediment depths of 0 to 10 cm

which was attributable to the sandy sediment and perturbation of benthic macrofauna.The nitrifying bacteria were inhibited by low DO condition

resulting in ammonium accumulation in subsurface sediment.With DO

0.03 mg·L

-1

the abundance of ammonia oxidizing bacteria was greater than that of nitrite oxidizing bacteria.
