Effect of Volatile Time on Residual Gasoline Compound in Soil Matrix and Application in Fire Investigation
The absorption property gasoline attached on soil matrix was studied. The relationship between peak areas and target/typical compounds of gasoline was obtained by fitting peak areas and time. The result showed that retention times of these compounds in gasoline attached on soil were different. The retention times of C5 alkylbenzene
naphthalene and methylnaphthalene were longer than those of indane and C4 alkylbenzene. In comparison
the retention times of C1,C2 and C3 alkylbenzenes were shortest.
