Qualitative Simulation Modeling of Premixed Gas Detonation Cellular Structure
Premixed gas detonation wave has a typical cellular structure
mainly using smoked technology to record the triple point trajectory of the detonation wave in the pipeline by the shear wave
incident wave and Mach stem intercourse. Detonation cell width λ acts as cellular length characteristics, detonation cell size also can be used to determine the most basic characteristic parameters of the combustible gas mixture
based on cell size
other detonation dynamic parameters
such as the critical pipeline diameter
detonation limit and direct initiation critical energy and so on all can be obtained through the simultaneous detonation cell size. Detonation cellular structure is of great significance in the study of premixed gas detonation wave propagation characteristics
different initial conditions will have some impact on the cell size; this paper studies the relationship among detonation cells size and the initial conditions through the combination of qualitative and quantitative modeling
according to the quantitative comparison with the experimental data to verify the correctness and feasibility of qualitative simulation.
