A Novel Polymeric Micelles of Poly(ethylene glycol)-Cholic Acid (PEG-CA) for Anticancer Drug Delivery
The diblock copolymer of Poly(ethylene glycol)-Cholic acid (PEG-CA) was synthesized and assembled to a novel polymeric micelles for drug delivery. Nuclear magnetic resonance (NMR) and infrared (FTIR) spectroscopy were used to analyze the structure of the polymer. Particle size and distribution of the selfassembled micelles were measured using Zeta-Plus particle size analyzer. The Doxorubicin (DOX) loading capacity of PEG-CA micelles was evaluated and potential ability for drug delivery in future clinical practice.
