Concentrated solar panel can effectively save semiconductor consumption of solar cells because of its high photoelectric conversion efficiency. However
traditional concentrated optical design is inflexible so that the overall dimensions of such panels are very large
coming with high installation and maintenance cost. Flat plate concentrated solar module using proportionate light compression
with small thickness
is flexible to design and fabricate according to sunshine condition. An optical design principle of flat plate solar module is proposed
and software simulation will show the optical performance of the concentrators.
