Synthesis of A Series of Substituted 2-Amino-2′-Hydroxy-1,1′-Binaphthyl Compounds Catalyzed by Copper-Amine Complex
A serious of substituted NOBIN compounds were synthesized from substituted 2-naphthol and 2-naphthylamine in methanol solvent at room temperature
using the CuCl
2
·2H
2
O/benzylamine complex with molar ratio of 1∶4 as a catalyst. The product with mediate yields was purified by precipitation. The chemical structure was characterized using NMR spectroscopy and FAB-MS analysis.
