Automated parameter optimization of distributed hydrological model for watershed flood forecasting
The theory of automatic parameter optimization of the distributed hydrological model
including parameter's physical meaning
uncertainty
sensitivity and determinability
is presented in this paper. An automatic parameter optimization method based on Particle Swarm Optimization is proposed for the Liuxihe Model in watershed flood forecasting. This method is validated in the Wujiang Catchment in southern China and shows the advantages of high optimal performance
high computational efficiency
and good convergence. The Liuxihe Model based on the automatic parameter optimization method is more efficient.
