Flavonoids metabolites of mangrove endophytic Penicillium sp. from Dongzhai Harbor
sp. H1N1 from Dongzhai Harbor of Hainan Province was fermented by liquid culture
and four compounds were isolated and purified by various chromatographic purification methods. Their structures were identified as 8-hydroxy-6-methyl-xanthone-1-carboxylate (1),8-hydroxy-6-methyl-xanthone-1-carboxylic acid (2),8-hydroxy-6-methyl-xanthone-1-carboxylate (3) and 4′
6-dihydrooxyaurone(4),respectively. Furthermore
the structure of compound 1 was also confirmed by X-ray diffraction. Compound 4 was obtained from Mangrove endophytic fungi for the first time
